Why SafestDNS™?
For governments, businesses and internet communities around the world, Internet infrastructure is of vital importance for online transactions, communications, education and information dissemination. Organizations’ Internet Infrastructures have become potential targets to increasingly sophisticated and numerous DDOS and other malicious attacks, and must be prepared with adequate defences.
The SafestDNS™ architecture isolates malicious traffic as much as possible within the geographical region of its origin. In the event of your local operations being subject to catastrophic failure (e.g. fibre break, fire, flood) internal or external malicious attack, service to your Internet community outside the local region is unaffected, and can remain functioning at normal levels.
Challenges that can be met with SafestDNS™:

Exposure to increasingly sophisticated DDOS attacks: requires greater system capacities and stronger security mechanisms to combat

Exponential increase in traffic presents scalability and capacity challenges

Increased expectations imposed by governmental oversight and scrutiny as the importance of the Internet increases for communications, commerce and other vital interests

Need to rapidly expand DNS resolution capabilities and footprint

Budgetary and operational considerations associated with the exponential growth in DNS traffic

Increased demands on internal human and technological resources

Increased Security, Stability, Performance, Quality of Service and Scalability
For customers, this means:

Resistance to DDOS attacks. The SafestDNS™ cloud is guaranteed an uptime of 99,999%

Increase in overall performance. If one server goes down, the load is shifted over the remaining servers.
Faster DNS response times. A query goes to the nearest name server that appears closest to the querying name server.
