Chinese Domain Names now included in the .SG Buy One Get One Free Promotion

Registrants of .com.sg, .org.sg, .net.sg and .edu.sg domain names have been enjoying free registration of .SG domain names since 1 March 2007. Previously, only ASCII and Numeric Domain Names were available for registration under this scheme. According to SGNIC’s recent announcement, Registrants can henceforth benefit from this “Buy One Get One Free” scheme with Chinese Domain Names as well.

EPP Client Interface for ccTLD Box users now available
|
|
|
In response to popular demand, IP Mirror has developed an EPP Client interface for its Accredited Partners.
Accredited Partners can now use IP Mirror’s EPP client toolkit to execute domain name transactions via IP Mirror’s backbone system in real-time. Whilst the web-based Partner account issued to each Partner performs real-time domain name operations, the EPP client provides further benefits by allowing Partners to implement completely automated domain name operations within their own website without the need to log in to an additional web panel. Partners on the EPP client can continue to check EPP submissions and obtain account summaries via the Web Panel. Only Accredited Partners are eligible to enjoy and implement the EPP Client.

CNNIC Update: Exemption from MIIT ICP Recording for New Registered CN Domain Names
|
|
|
With effect from 9th June 2010, submission of MIIT ICP recording number will not be required under the following circumstances:
- For non website usage purpose: Customer needs to submit “the letter of commitment of the usage of domain name for non website purpose” <关于域名用于境外接入的网站的承诺书>
- Website server not in Mainland China: Customer needs to submit “the letter of commitment of the usage of domain name for website whose server is not based in mainland China”. <关于域名用于非网站用途的承诺书>
