INTA Meeting 2009 in Seattle

IP Mirror recently participated in the International Trademark Association (INTA) 131st Annual Meeting held in Seattle, Washington, May 16 – 20.

INTA is a non-profit association dedicated to the support and advancement of trademarks and related intellectual property, with elements of fair and effective national and international commerce.

A proud member of INTA since 2005, IP Mirror has helped numerous clients resolve domain name dispute cases, particularly within Asia.

“This annual meeting represents the largest congregation of trademark owners and professionals in our globe, a significant opportunity for our legal associates to acquire the latest updates in the field of trademarks,” Tessa Lam, CIO, said.

Domain Names have acquired immense significance as business identifiers, and companies can no longer ignore the fact that it is crucial to ascertain that a domain name strategy is effectively integrated within their branding and trademark development process.

The INTA 2009 meeting brought together 5000 delegates and participants from more than 130 countries and witnessed educational programs, strategies and analytical sessions including skill-building workshops, industry breakouts and trademark law studies.
