Systems and Networks Engineer

This position exposes the candidate to world-class server infrastructure deploying cutting edge technologies on high availability, load balancing and virtualization.

Responsibilities:

Administer and optimize world-wide network infrastructure, DNS servers, mail and anti-spam servers, database servers and JBoss application servers
Administer and optimize website and email hosting servers using Plesk hosting automation tool
Monitor closely health of servers and network devices to improve performance and prevent down times
Oversee and continuously improve and fine-tune enterprise’s backup strategies, OS updates, systems and network security

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
Be Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or other equivalent certification on Linux system administration
Experience in administering VMWare or other virtualization technologies is preferable
Preferably 2 years of system and network administration experience, scripting or programming experience and project management
Persevering and highly motivated
Good communication skills as you are required to work in teams and deliver support service to clients
Highly-initiated and the desire to improve processes and help others to do better
Willing to work shifts when requested
