What is BOGOF Bundled Discount Scheme?

The Bundled Discount Scheme is basically a Buy-One-Get-One-Free (BOGOF) scheme whereby IP Mirror does not charge registrants the registration fee of the 2nd level domain name if it is identical to any other ccTLD domain name and is registered at the same time as the any other ccTLD domain name.

How do I qualify for the scheme?

By registering any domain name of any extension such as .com, .net or .tw that IP Mirror sells on its website, you will be entitled to the free .cn domain, provided both are registered at the same time. For example: if you are eligible for domain.com.au, you will get any domain under any extension of .cn free if it is also available.

When will the scheme start? How long will it last?

IP Mirror will charge you the price of one domain name when you register the same ccTLD domain name and a matching 2nd-level name, provided the two names are registered by the IP Mirror and are registered at the same time. For example: if you are eligible for domain.com.au, you will get domain.hk free if it is also available.

Can I transfer my BOGOF domain away from IP Mirror in the first year?

No, a transfer away in the first year is not allowed. Only after the renewal you are allowed to transfer your BOGOF .HK domain to another registrar.

Registration Rules

Both ccTLD and second-level .HK domain names are to be registered by the same applicant
Both ccTLD and second-level .HK domain names are to be registered at the same time.
If the second-level .HK domain corresponding to the ccTLD is not available for registration, you are entitled to register any other name under second-level .HK for free.
This promotion is only applicable for the 1st year of registration of the second-level .HK domain. If you want to register for 2-year term, the 2nd year registration fees are applicable.
Generic top-level extensions i.e. .com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.mobi/.name are not eligible for this promotion.
IP Mirror reserves the right to delete the .HK domain if it is found to be in non-compliance with the terms and conditions of this promotion.
IP Mirror reserves the right to extend or terminate this promotion anytime without notice.
